Win+Left Snap to Left; Win+Right Snap to Right

So there you are in Windows, your two favorite applications open, and you want one of them to occupy the left half of the screen, and the other thr right.

In the first window, use the Windows and the Left-Arrow key to snap that window to the left.

In the second window, use the Windows and the Right-Arrow key to snap that window to the right.
