Sticky Notes: Restoring Delete Confirmation

OK, so you got tired of clicking confirmation for delete and clicked it OFF.

Now you find you are deleting things you shouldn’t and you like the confirmation back.

It’s Reg Edit time; good old Reginald!

Open the registry Editor

Click Start button, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER

Browse to the Sticky Notes keys

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\StickyNotes

Modify the value of “PROMPT_ON_DELETE” to be 1, instead of zero.
