Make a Shortcut to a Folder

Got a folder you need to access throughout the day, from all over the place?

Finding it a drag to locate that folder?

Browsing up and down; Nope! Must be on the other drive?

Make a shortcut.

In Windows Explorer, browse to that folder for the last time.

Right-click on the folder and choose COPY.

Now browse to a dead-easy place to be, such as the root directory on your personal drive (your data drive D: on your PC, or your H: drive on the corporate network).

Right-click IN the folder and choose PASTE-SHORTCUT.

I save images from a variety of sources throughout the day. I right-click on the image, hit the T: drive, and there’s a shortcut link to the folder “T:\Greaves\Products\USER\Wallp\Source\”.

Beats the heck out of browsing!
