Salad Dressing Cruet from a Soy-Sauce Bottle

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Don't recycle that glass bottle that once held soya sauce!

Carefully lift off the clear plastic valve. This piece turns the bottle into a shaker.

Wash and rinse the bottle, valve and cap.

Half-fill the bottle with salad dressing. For simplicity I've used a 50-50 mixture of oil and vinegar here.

Replace the valve on the bottle.

Cap the bottle and store in the refrigerator.

When I want dressing for my bean sprouts, I'll shake the bottle a few times, remove the cap, and sprinkle the temporarily-mixed solution on my salad.
