To the right is the head of my squeeze-mop with a new sponge clipped in place. The old sponge had distinegrated after five years of use.

I found that the base of the old sponge, strangely, had a sponge-side and a scruibber side.

To the left is the 4mm strip, cut in half, showing my two new non-metal pan-scrubbers! The right-most hal;f shows the original sponge surface while the left-most part shows the scubbing portion.
