There’s no such thing as a free lunch, but in this case I’m paying!
And why would I offer FREE TRAINING, when I make my living by charging clients for training?
The answer is simple, and makes sense to you.
You know that you can get your hair cut for free at a hairdressing school, and you can get your teeth fixed for free at a dental school, well why not get FREE TRAINING at a training school.
I run a training establishment. I train on-site, or in established business schools, but from time to time I offer FREE TRAINING for the same reason that hairdressing and dental schools offer FREE TRAINING, but with a lot less damage to your psyche if something goes wrong, and a great deal less pain and apprehension. (Of course, if something goes wrong, then there is damage to MY psyche, but how often is that going to happen?!!)
Every now and then I develop a new course, or make significant changes to an existing course, and I need willing volunteers (YOU!) to sit through the course while I check that it works.
Most of the time it does work, and works well, but every now and then I need to make an adjustment. You might be stalled in class for three minutes while I make corrections; that’s all.
You get FREE TRAINING; I get to see how well I’m doing.
