Reducing Toolbar Size
( Download Now )
If you are desperate for real-estate space on your desktop (and Microsoft was when they conceived Office 2007), you have probably used the macro BestFitToolbarsByName to re-arrange the toolbars into the minimum space possible.
You can also customize your Under toolbar .
Here is the Under The Hood toolbar as it appears after installation.
The first four small buttons ("?", "!B", "!P, "!T") are placed for your convenience; early on in your use of under you may want to tweak your personal settings, but after a week or so, you may have little use for these buttons.
Drag them off the toolbar; the macros they represent are present in the Info and Environment sub-menus anyway.
Right-click on the Under toolbar and from the (possibly gargantuan) pop-up list, choose Customize.
Drag the four minor toolbar buttons off the Under toolbar; they disappear into limbo.
Close the Customize dialog box.
More space on your desktop!
