Speedup - Windows Reboot Safe Mode
If some files seem particularly difficult to budge, try a safe mode reboot.
Reboot Windows, and once the splash screen has appeared, tap the F8 function key to boot in Safe Mode.
Safe Mode will sometimes let you access files you might not otherwise access.
Once you have done the deed, reboot in the regular fashion and continue your work.
