What Went Wrong with the Mailing?
(4) All of the trashed pages were double-sided (back-printed with fixed text), costing time and toner.
Next Time: Do the backside printing as the last step, after signing and before folding/stuffing.
I am printing out a form letter, personalized on the face side and with stock material on the back side. Printing the backside of a sheet that may be destined for the scrap is a waste of printing time (my time!) and toner.
A better ploy is to print the essential face sides, read and sign them (that picks up an occasional error for a reprint), and only when they have been signed, pass them through the printer for the back side printing.
This last printing pass is a fast one – it will run at the maximum feed-speed of the printer.
