I was struck by the cat, apparently keeping an eye on the book titled “Birds”. ABC books, west side of Yonge between Wellesley and Bloor.
I counted seven pieces of heavy equipment in this photo, six of them on the site at a corner of Yonge Street.
Last week I treated myself to a large printout of an 1878 map of Toronto.
The original map measures about 24” by 18” but I had it enlarged to 42” by about 65”. At that size is practically covers my bed.
The image above has a one-foot plastic ruler for scale.
The same UPS shop prints on material, so one possibility is to reprint the map on fabric and use it as a bed-spread.
“At least you’re not sleeping on the streets”.
No. Under them.
