More signs of spring.
This Linear Grove of Trees is adjacent to my building.
Cherry Blossoms, I guess, a warning sign that I should have been out to High Park earlier this week ...
Oddly enough, two days before this article appeared in the Toronto Star I was discussing police salaries with my friend. On Wednesday 19th April we observed a Cop Pushing Donuts (We assume it was donuts; I’m not sure that it is yet legal for cops to push Marijuana on the Sidewalks of Downtown Toronto) and I mentioned “:He earns a hundred K”.
My buddy expressed surprise, but I felt confident in my assertion that Toronto Cops pull down something of the order of $100,000 per year in Salary. Pensions, Medical and Dental Benefits are probably not included in the Posted Salary Figures.
