You're Not Paying for the Electricity
Interpretation 1:
While you are sitting staring at the monitor, unsure of what to do, the monitor (and the computer) is burning electricity.
Your boss or your company is paying for that electricity, and by sitting there with a deer-in-the-headlights attitude, you are wasting a resource.
Don't just stare, frozen; use on of these rules to GO somewhere; If in Doubt Press Enter ; The Tab Key Will Take You on a Guided Tour ; Always Click on a Click-Me .
But DO something.
It won't hurt you to learn.
Interpretation 2:
You are sitting staring at the monitor, unsure of what to do, and worried that whatever you do will be wrong.
Stop worrying.
Go ahead and do SOMEthing.
If you have to burn electricity recovering from a mistake, take heart in the fact that you're not paying for the electricity!
