Italic - Ctrl+I

Applies or removes Italic formatting.

Not the kind of thing I would normally do, because I believe that STYLES are better tools for formatting.

None the less, if you insist on typing a bit of data and then italicizing it, Ctrl-I sure beats reaching for the mouse, knocking over your coffee and/or clicking the wrong toolbar button anyway!

Apart from which, Ctrl-I works in most Windows applications.

Try it everywhere.

It is a superb general-purpose tool.
