Dear Chris,

I would like to thank you for the work you did for me last week.

As you know, I make my living creating websites. I am a one-man-shop and constantly feel like I am stretched to the limit. Consequently, I view any purchase that can make my job more efficient, and save me time, as money well spent.

Often, when it comes to buying new software, my purchasing decision is made solely on the amount of time that can be saved, on current and future projects.

Because my time is so valuable to me, I am constantly searching for more efficient methods to create websites. This usually means modifying text documents, spreadsheets or databases. A phrase that I find myself repeating over and over is "There must be a better way to do this". That's when I know it's time to contact Chris Greaves.

Seriously, you should make your own personal tag line "Yes, there is a better way".

You have an uncanny ability to look at a computer problem or challenge, see the big picture and mentally sort through the "what ifs" and "if this - then that". I imagine this type of work requires immense patience, and you seem to have that in spades. When we were trying to solve a piece of the equation last week, I found my patience wearing thin while yours did not. And it was my project!

I'm sure there are many programmers with your computing skills. However, those skills are essentially useless to me, if they are not in the hands of someone who can look at my problems and apply them to "the big picture".

I'm not always sure how to define your work, but in short, you solve computer related problems. I don't believe I've ever come to you with a challenge and heard you say "no, this can't be done". Rather, you go into hibernation mode, and return with a solution. And you persist until you've got it right. If anyone dreams in code - it's you.

I can't thank you enough for this wonderful time-saving tool you created.

Best Regards,

Fred Lepper
