The Problem

Several problems will be solved simultaneously.

Occasionally you delete or overwrite a file you didn’t ought to. We’ll get it back.

You need a “snapshot” of your data , frozen in time, for some sort of audit-trail.

You are vulnerable to break-in and theft.

Your data might be re-creatable, but your client’s loss-of-confidence that their personal details are out there will cost you your business.

Unlikely that your office will catch fire, but if it does, you can be back in operation within 24 hours, and that means you’ll stay in business.

You don’t have time to do backups every day.

You don’t want to wait until the backups are complete so that you can go home.

You have a small network and everyone but you is technically illiterate. nice people, but technically illiterate.

You need a backup system that can be understood by the first technical support you drag in off the street.

That should do for starters.

In these notes we will solve ALL of these problems, and a few more!

The Essence Of The Solution
