The Mount.BAT file

TITLE %0 Mount an encrypted drive
if not exist X: "C:\Program Files\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe" /q /lX /v\Device\Harddisk1\Partition1
net share X=X:\
if not exist Y: "C:\Program Files\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe" /q /lY /v\Device\Harddisk2\Partition1
net share Y=Y:\
REM End

This batch file requires customization.

/v\Device\Harddisk1\Partition1

Change this to reflect the device of an external drive.

If you are not sure what to enter, plug in and power on the external drive, load TrueCrypt and use the Select device command to get a list of available devices.

net share Y=Y:\

Change this to reflect the letter(s) that will be used as backup drives.

There are plenty of drive letters. I have used “X” as the share letter and I have used “X:” as the drive letter for the first of my USB external drives, and “Y” and “Y:” for the second external drive.

The Backup.bat file depends on thes eletters.

Sticking with “X” or with “X” and “Y” will help you get started with the minimum of hassle.
