TITLE Commands
You will notice that my batch files sport the DOS TITLE command. This command places the string that follows as the caption in the blue title bar that runs across the top of the DOS window:
By using the intended command line as the parameter string to the TITLE command, the DOS window caption always displays the current state of the job.
In the screen snapshot above you can see that I am backing up my C: drive to the first backup drive (X:) for the LAP top computer.
