Assumptions
I’ll assume that you have no backup procedures in place, and that you do not use encryption, and have never written a DOS batch file.
If you do have half-solution backup procedures in place, such as clicking on a backup icon on your accounting software toolbar, or a legacy use of Xcopy from DOS days, you can leave it in place.
Our solution is going to backup everything, including your smaller efforts. You can, if you choose, remove those earlier efforts after you’re satisfied that our overall solution is working for you. No need to change your habits. Yet.
